Chocolate Chip & Peanut Butter Blondies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 sticks salted butter, plus more for greasing pan
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chunks
  • Coarse sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a brownie pan with butter.
  2. In a large glass mixing bowl, melt butter and 1/2 cup of the creamy peanut butter in 30 second increments until melted.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk until fully combined.
  4. Add the flour and baking powder. Mix until dough has almost formed. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spread 1/2 of the dough out in the prepared pan and push to the sides. Swirl remaining peanut butter on top of dough. Add the second half of the dough on top of peanut butter.
  6. Bake 23 to 27 minutes until just set in the center. Top with chocolate chunks and bake for an additional 2 minutes until melted.
  7. Remove from oven. Let cool and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Cut into bars and serve!
