Calphalon has lost a long time customer
Ordered this pot on 3/14/2026. Lid and spout are odd features, but I could get used to those. However, the quality is not up to previous Calphalon standards. The coating on the outside edge of the pot has a very clear manufacturing defect and is warped and peeling. I completed the tedious, unnecessarily complicated warranty claim, including uploading photos, only to be denied: "we are unable to move forward with the warranty claim process, as we have determined that the damage falls outside of our warranty terms." I have purchased many Calphalon items over the years, including multi-piece sets for my children. I have always been pleased with the quality of the products. But now Calphalon has lost a repeat customer over an obvious defect on a $55 pot. Never again.

Impressive Performance
This is one of two pots I bought recently from Calphalon. I love this pot — it reliably heats food or sauces evenly, nothing sticks to the surface making cleanup very easy. I do not like that the handle gets hot. I love the lid with the venting holes which also allow me to drain water from pasta easily. Thank you.

Lovely pan
Have enjoyed this pan. Just wish it had more of a flare ( versus straight up and down) Tried to replace my old favorite pan. Love that it cleans easily and is dishwasher safe. Cant go wrong!
