Horrible Product and Service
Do not buy this product!! I ordered this set last year during a black friday sale. I have ordered this Calphalon set for many years but it seems they have changed the product in recent years. The handles are now hollow which helps with the weight of the products but I think it is now causing a problem with the heat distribution to the handles. They handles get red hot so fast that I am unable to even tap the handle with my finger without getting burned. This cant be normal. There also continues to be black soot that wipes off the bottoms of these pots and pans. I thought that maybe this was temporary and would stop after a few washes, but the issue has continued even a year after using.
I've submitted a warranty claim and while I appreciated a quick response from the team, I was informed that I was to cover the full shipping cost. Due to the weight and size of this set, the shipping cost would be so high that the refund I would receive through the warranty would really only cover my shipping costs. This seemed completely pointless and I decided to not move forward with the warranty. Extremely disappointing for a defective product that advertises great warranty but then expects the buyer to pay for high shipping cost. I've tried to call the support line to speak with someone as well, but the number provides only automated information and its impossible to speak with a real human. Awful.

Surface is starting to come off
I received this set as a gift about 3 years ago. The non-stick finish has started coming off. I use only wooden or plastic utensils as a rule so not sure why this is happening.

Great set of pans
I bought the set of Calaphon pans to replace some older pans that were losing their non-stick coating. I am very happy with this set of pans! They are heavy duty, cook evenly and are easy to clean.

I am horrified with this situation!!
Horrible customer service!! I purchased this set a month ago and received a bunch of random old pots and pans.
I contacted customer service and they told me that nothing could be done about it. They would not send me a return label as I sent various emails, pictures etc.Tjry opened 2 cases and both times they refused to give me a refund or even have someone talk to me. I asked for a supervisor to call me and no one had the decency to call me back. Spent days working on this with no accountability from this company. ** Do not buy from this site. Go to a reputable retailer that will put you first and refund your money. A month and no assistance or refund!! No apologies or arrangements just total disregard once they have your money!! Have a big box in my kitchen for a month now and have lost my patience. Will never buy Calphalon again! A company that doesn’t take care of their customers!!
