I have already replace it once (I had to pay to ship it back) and I had the new one for a few months before it started peeling. I haven’t sent it back yet because I don’t have the extra money for shipping. If it’s a lifetime warranty that should include shipping. If you product is that good then shipping shouldn’t be a problem for you to cover.
