Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer BEWARE! Do not buy this Calphalon! There is a reason they have a warranty, because they know it’s going to break. I have had 2 of these crack since purchasing the 14 cup coffee maker! They are $39.99 for a replacement coffee pot, which is almost as much as a new machine entirely! The first pot was almost 4 months old when it cracked after taking it off the hot plate, and the replacement pot (purchased a whole brand new machine online), didn’t last a month before the same issue…not sure if it’s cheap glass or what but I will NOT be buying another Calphalon! Also, do not buy this replacement pot at all! It will break, and you will end up in Perkatory too!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great while it lasts Bought one last year. Hot plate stopped working. Bought another, and the carafe was cracked. I took the old carafe and put it on the new coffee pot, contacted them for warranty work on the non-working hot plate and they told me I could send it in for a repair, but I have to pay shipping. Meanwhile, after 3 months on the new hot plate, the old carafe cracked. Three whole reason I choose this brand was the warranty, and I already paid shipping when I ordered it! Now there's no replacement carafe. Two coffee pots in one year, I'm out 180 bucks and no coffee.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You're in trouble when this inevitably cracks Looks and feels nice, but I've now broken two of these just by setting them on my granite counter and have spent literally hours trying to find a replacement. Why is it so difficult to find a replacement? From other reviews I've seen, this happens literally all of the time. Looks like I'll have to buy a new machine from a different brand because I'm certainly not going through this again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware.Do not buy I cracked the carafe while washing it. I tapped another glass dish with it and it put a hole in the bottom of the carafe. It should not have cracked as lightly as I tapped it. But my bad so I would pay for another without complaining too much. But No... There are none available at this time. It been a couple of months. I've went back and forth with Calaphon over this to no avail. I had to replace the coffee maker. Do now I have an expensive coffee maker that I can use. So no I'm not happy with this purchase or customer service.
