The GE Cafe line seems to need a smooth surface with direct contact to the stovetop. The description was misleading. I now have a griddle I cannot use!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Badly designed, don't buy The built-in handles take a lot of the cooking surface, I have to move it forward so I can get more heat were I need it (at least one burner) and on top of that they let a lot of the heat go away through them. Luckily (and unfortunately) it was a gift , so we can't get rid of it that easy, but at least didn't pay for it. There are better and cheaper options out there. Excellent appearance, that's why I think people buy it, but poor performance AND functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, but heavy. I love my cast iron griddle. Would recommend. It's extremely sturdy and seasoned well in the oven. Perfect for camping & perfect for camp fire. I do wish it was an inch wider. But it's already super heavy (~11lbs guessing), so I understand why it can only be 10" wide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect pancakes! This griddle fits perfectly on my 5th burner. You wouldn't think that cast iron would be non stick but my pancakes came out perfect. I followed all the instructions about washing and seasoning. This was a great deal!
