Preheat the Calphalon Quartz Heat Countertop Oven to 400
degrees.
In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef, ground
turkey, egg, ricotta cheese,
parsley, thyme, oregano, salt and almond flour. Mix all
ingredients well until all
is incorporated.
Drizzle olive oil onto a baking sheet and with a 1 oz. or
2 oz. ice cream
scoop, scoop out the meatballs onto the baking sheet.
Once all of the meat mixture is scooped out onto the
baking sheet, evenly roll
all of balls the balls into perfect spheres.
Line all of the meatballs up on sheet pan so that they’re
touching, this will
help to keep all of the juices inside of the meatballs so
they stay moist. Do not
have loose meatballs on the sheet even if they don't fill up
your entire baking
sheet.
Place baking sheet into 400 degree oven for 18-20
minutes. Serve with your
favorite side and sauce.
Alternative Digital Sauté Slow Cooker Instructions
Repeat steps 2-5 in the above “Process” section
Sear the meatballs in the Calphalon Digital Sauté Slow
Cooker pot so they are
browned on all sides, for about 8-10 minutes.
Will need to do this in multiple batches
Put pot back into the Digital Sauté Slow Cooker vessel
and pour a 24 oz. jar of
sauce into the pot, covering the meatballs entirely.
Set the Digital Sauté Slow Cooker on high and cook for
30-40 minutes. Serve
with your favorite side.
