Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am so morivated to cook, chop and cut now. Best knives set and I wont have to worry about sharpening my blades! Win Win! I was so excited to be selected to receive this complementary from Influenster for my honest opinion and I finally received them. I need a good set of knives and this Calphalon brand SharpIn edgetrach was perfect! The knife block is very sturdy and honestly a bit heavy so I know it won't move around on my counters. Best part the design has the sharpen mechanism inside each knife blade slot- Win!!! The knives are light weight, the selection of knives that were include were on point! All the essential ones we need. The handles are a perfect grip. The Santoku knife is my all time favorite. Can use it for everything. Being that it's summer time I used the Chefs knife to cut a watermelon and OMG it cut it like butter! I will say having a good set of knives gives you motivation to cook. I had such fun chopping and cutting what a difference a good set of knives especially sharp ones make. Thank you Influenster and Calphalon for making my cooking days more enjoyable!

This is not only an esthetically pleasing, but it is durable, beautiful design and safe block inserts. The design versatile due to it’s design/knife inserts. I would highly recommend this knife block set.

It’s very durable and the design of the sharp edge technology is great. They slide into the right slot with ease. If the pocket doesn’t fit the knife it won’t go in! Great safety feature. The knife itself weight to it. They cut like through a tomato like butter and the blades are sharp. It’s great the way the edge of the knife has imprinted on the handle tip the type it is. This has become my new favorite knife set. The larger knives have the sharpening ability built in. The steak knives do not. I definitely recommend having one of these sets.

Calphalon is a great name so I know this will be the last set of knives I have to buy. I t also contains a nice assortment of knives so I have what I need for all my prep needs! Definitely a must buy.

They are very sharp and balanced well so they are easy to use. I also love the built in sharpener. So much l love with these knives! The only flaw is that they have to be hand washed. For those who stick everything in the dishwasher it’s inconvenient, but I’m sure the will be around for many years so it’s worth it.

The SharpIn Edgetech is pretty amazing! I love knowing that I’m sharpening the knives every time I put them in & take them out of the block! But they’re already SUPER sharp- easily the sharpest knives I’ve ever owned. These knives are so well balanced and comfortable to work with. I don’t put them in the dishwasher, just hand wash and dry them before putting them back in the block. We are so pleased with this set, we’re buying another as a wedding gift- highly recommend

The knives came sharp right out of the box and the self-sharpening device should keep them sharp and ready for any cooking task. The knives are easy to grip and the nice contour of the handle keeps them from slipping in your hand. The wood block is attractive and the polished steel on top will blend nicely if you have stainless steel appliances in your kitchen. Each knife is separated with the perfect amount of space that makes it easy to grab a knife out of the wood block without disturbing the others. From using the knives several times, to self sharpen, you just press down lightly while pulling the knife out of the block. It's a smooth and easy process. Great looking and there is a knife for everything you need to cut, chop, or slice.

Theses are made of high carbon for durability and staying sharp. You need to wash by hand and dry completely before placing in storage block. It says you need to go on line to obtain a warranty.

Always known to me as being high quality products, the Premier 15 Piece Knife Set w/SharpIN Edgetech does not disappoint. Its sleek design look great on my counter. The set includes everything needed for most kitchen cooking projects. They are labeled so you know what knife you are pulling out. It’s also convenient having the knives housed in their own sharpeners. Slicing vegetables, meats, bread, and fruits is done with ease since these knives remain razor sharp. The knives slice as thin and accurately as my mandolin. Cleaning is no effort since you just need to rinse and dry off and replace them into the block. Housing them in the block is a definite safety feature as they’re not laying in a drawer where you can reach in and get cut. I would highly recommend this knife set, and look forward to using them every day! They may be a bit pricey, but they will last, therefore you will get your money’s worth.

The knives are well balance and come exceptionally sharp right out of the box. The built in sharpening feature is also a plus. Your sharpening when you pull the knife out and when you place it back in the storage block, very cool feature. The set itself looks good in the kitchen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Knives First, these knifes are razor sharp so I had to learn to be more careful than with my older professional knife set. I love the built in sharpeners for the chef knives, no more searching for my sharpener or wasting time honing the edges. The multi purpose scissors are great for trimming skin on meat or for cutting apart pizza slices and the space in the block for them means I might actually find them now. The steak knives cut cleanly with a little less effort than my previous ones which is great too. I have cut, chickens apart with ease as well as fruits and vegetables. I do have a favorite knife already, the santoku knife is multitasking great for thinly slicing meats but also cleanly slices soft skinned fruits and vegetables, my tomatoes were cut perfectly. With a built in sharpener for the chef knives and super sharp blades this is the perfect set for budding chefs.

I love Calphalon products, so I was extremely excited to try their Premier 15-piece Knife Set with SharpIN™️ Edgetech. They are a great set for cooks of different levels. 4 stars because they are not made from durable and weighty German high carbon stainless steel, (they are made with Asian high carbon stainless steel) and I would have liked a bigger serrated knife. Nonetheless, they're are extremely sharp and easy to handle. The built in ceramic sharpeners are very handy! No pulling out a dull knife and needing to get out your sharpener while your food sits. That alone is a glorious feature! They are very nice looking and would make a great gift for someone just getting into cooking. I think a more intermediate cook, such as myself, would like these as a spare set. I know I will enjoy using them as a second set. The price is relatively competitive. I did look up the price though I received these free from Influenster and Calphlon in exchange for my honest review.   .

It is also nice that each knife has the name on the knife, so you know what to use it for and which slot it fits into. This is an amazing set of knives and I’m so excited to replace my old beat up ones. I can see these lasting for years because they are very durable They are very clean and nice to look at and will make a great addition to any kitchen countertop.

It is a gorgeous set with a low profile that fits beautifully on the counter top. The SharpIN Edgetech keeps knives sharp as the sharpener is inside the Block! Fantastic concept. The knives are full tang with high carbon stainless steel. I love that the knives have printed handles that tell it's usage. The set comes with utility kitchen shears and 8 steak knives. I am so pleased. I cut a tomato so easily it was unreal. I highly recommend this premium Calphalon knife set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning Sharp! I was sent this product from Influenster and Calphalon for my honest review. The high carbon stainless steel blades are high-quality, strong and sharp. High carbon blades can be sharpened over and over again and maintain their strength and shape. The spring loaded sharpener is on hand and ready for the blade to be sharpened as you pull it out and as you put it away when cleaned. Serrated knife slot does not have the sharpening edges as not the damage the serrated edge, the steak knives do not have a sharpened area either but they stay very sharp through many uses. It is recommended to hand wash only to protect the blades finish and prevent rusting. Harsh chemicals and detergents can damage stainless steel coating . The block itself is made of a sturdy wood oak finish, that looks sleek and stylish in any decor. The knives cut through vegetables meat and even pineapple like butter. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this set of knives for a home warming, bridal shower, or a fabulous hostess present. This is one set of knives that will last the test of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Calphalon Knife Set I recently tried the Calphalon knives for the first time. The knifes are stainless steel with a heavyweight wooden handle that is easy to hold. The knifes are very sharp and precise. I used the 5” Santoku knife and cut a grape like a tomato. The knife set is a great addition to my kitchen. I have several Calphalon pots already and like the quality of the kitchen products. The knife block is a good touch because it’s so much easier to simply reach for a specific knife without digging through my knife drawer. The scissors are heavy weight and have a bottle opener too. I honestly think these knives are worth having and I’m looking forward to having them for many years. I received this complimentary knife set for my honest review. I do recommend the products by Calphalon.
