The 12 inch size is perfect because of not having long handles, but rather two loop handles. Makes it easier to cook and easily pick up the pan and use it to serve directly from. Ofthen, I’ll have two pans going at one time on the cooktop, makes them easy to work wth with the loop handles. Importantly, the nonstick service is awesome, not just when cooking, but fast easy cleanup. I’ve had Calphalon pans for years before they nonstick versions. Still use them and love them as well

I have kids that don't know any better and if they use the pans, even though I have nylon utensils, they use metal wisks and forks and the pans are safe. I have had older generations of nonstick and didn't survive but these are solid. I have had mine for 3 years now, and still look decent.
