I chose the Calphalon Premier Hard-Anodized Nonstick 12-Inch Frying Pan with Lid. I already knew the quality. It has a great nonstick surface and requires very minimal care. Cleanup is very easy. I know I will be using this item for many years to come because I never have to worry about the perfect perfection of all my recipes. I only buy Calphalon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LID FOR THE WIN!!!! I bought this pan for its non-stick surface and for the lid! Concurrent with this pan, I acquired "Sweet Curry" powder from the spice house. My favorite use has been this pan with the curry powder and vegetables, especially brussels sprouts. Using the lid lets me partially steam the veg to cook the inside before letting it brown up a bit. The second use case has been eggs. I acquired egg rings that I use with this pan and the lid to create a breakfast sandwich perfectly cooked egg. Again the lid helps the egg cook/steam/poach. LID FOR THE WIN!!!!

This pan has not disappointed perfect every time doesn’t matter if it’s an egg or a steak. Definitely will be looking into getting more of these high quality pans.
