Calphalon’s reputation is absolutely earned. This griddle lived up to its name. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because the lips on the side of the griddle or a little too low for my liking. Excellent for pancakes eggs not so much grilling onions and peppers. The heat distribution was a little more focused underneath the heating element on my stove. However, I have an electric stove and I don’t think this would be a problem with the gas stove. The griddle was easy to clean and fits with my other cookware seamlessly.

This griddle is great for making eggs and grilled cheese. The ceramic makes it easy to flip. The heat is distributed evenly on the griddle. I will look into other products from this brand.

Absolutely love the design of this pan because of the shape it makes it easy to have multiple items while you’re cooking and the cleaning is so easy. It is such a breeze love how the heat is distributed evenly throughout the pan and it seems like it’s a very doable product, and because of the size I like that I can do several things with it

Perfectly cooked bacon!!
Heavy duty and cooks evenly. Big enough to lay bacon in perfectly, and so easy to clean just wipe it out!! I definitely wish I had a set of these I highly recommend this to everyone !!

Versatile, light and easy to clean Pan-Griggle
I own several pots and pans of high value, yet none of them compare to the performance of this particular pan in terms of cooking and cleaning efficiency. I typically use a light spray of Pam for added convenience in food preparation and cleanup, although I am unsure of its necessity.
Please be advised not to immerse the hot pan in water. Regrettably, I accidentally did so in a rush and although it continued to function well, concerns arose regarding potential damage caused. This griddle pan is truly outstanding - featuring a non-stick surface and lightweight construction, with ideal dimensions for the main stove burner.
Noteworthy aspects of this product include excellent heat distribution and effortless cleanup. Regrettably, the only drawback is that it tends to slide around during stirring or food removal. Nonetheless, it is perfect for preparing pancakes and sandwiches, boasting an appealing appearance and cool-to-the-touch handle.
For extended longevity, it is recommended to refrain from placing the pan in the dishwasher.

Great nonstick cooking
This pan is fantastic especially for nonstick items. It’s also sooo easy to clean. I forgot to take a picture but I made crepes on it and I didn’t even need butter to grease it. FYI I made my crepes round and not square. The pan heated evenly so there weren’t spots that cooked faster than others. So easy to use and easy to clean.

Calphalon Premier Ceramic Square Griddle in Midnight Blue is pretty big—11 inches. Great for reheating my pizza or making eggs. This dish is a breeze to clean up, it is truly nonstick. Just add water & a little soap & put it away. I haven’t had a Calphalon product in a while & I was pleasantly surprised.

So many functional uses for cooking
Never knew how much I needed this griddle in my life! The design is awesome for making paninis, pizzas for the kids, toast with toppings and pancakes among other things! It distributes the heat evenly and makes using it a breeze. While the label reports its dishwasher safe we prefer to handwash and it has held up immaculately.

Good for All in One Breakfast
I found this pan to be extremely good to cook my breakfast items all at once. I mainly use this in the mornings for when I fix my breakfast. I am able to put all of my breakfast items in one pan and be able to cook them simultaneously. The cleaning of this pan is so simple where you can just wipe it down and reuse it. However I do watch this pan often with soap and water but I like the fact that it's able to cook everything all at once. The handle for me is very long however, it's very sturdy and the pain itself is very lightweight. The heat distributes very well however because of me using an electric stove, it may not distribute well and I think it would be better if it was a gas stove. I have not used this for any other types of meals however I think this will be great if you're trying to fix breakfast items more so than dinner or even lunch options. But I could see this being used for lunch options for making warm sandwiches and home fries if you want.

Perfect for flat and not messy food items! Cleans spectacularly!
I tried using this pan for caramelized onions, first. Then, I used it for burgers. Sadly, this is not for greasy burgers, but luckily, it did well for the onions. The heat was evenly distributed, as promised and my goodness was this easy to clean!!! The grease from the burgers came right off and it took me all of one minute to get this thing back to clean as new! Definitely, a pan for flat and not so greasy foods. I’m very happy to own it!

Lightweight and easy to use

Best pan I've ever owned!
This pan is incredible! I'm weary of claims that say they're non stick, because most pans I've tried stick. This pan does not stick! I fried eggs, no sticking, grilled a delicious steak with a great sear, no sticking! Amazing! The square shape is super convenient in my small kitchen. And the pan itself is a beautiful blue!

I made eggs; cooked bacon, pancakes and marinated beef on this pan and everything cooked well. It was easy to clean any stuff stuck to the pan. I didn’t even need to add oil before cooking anything. The size fit perfectly on the stove so the whole pan I think is evenly heated.

Non-stick magic!
This pan is amazing!!! I loved how slick the pan is. There was absolutely no sticking. The new technology helped the food heat more evenly, instead of just in the center over the element. The pan feels sturdy and cleans easily. I look forward to using this pan for more easy clean up.

Durable and well-made.
This is a well-made griddle and it looks good. Cleaning it is a breeze as any food remains literally wipe right off of it. With that being said, I am not a great cook (notice the burnt French Toast!) and I don’t have a need for a separate pan used only for griddling.

Very easy to clean, and did a nice sear on steaks. Heated evenly (my only hurdle was my old wonky range eyes), and was quick to heat up. Would also be great for eggs, pancakes, or bacon.

Amazing non-stick Surface!
Skeptical at first but this flat non-stick pan was amazing with cooking sunny side up eggs on the first try! I usually have used a pan in the past but this one made cooking so much easier for eggs especially and I can’t wait to sue for pancakes and bacon.
Clean up was also a breeze!

Works pretty good
It works pretty good. I used it for scrambled eggs without any oil or nonstick spray. A little stuck to the pan but with flat sides definitely not the best for that use. Probably would work great for over easy eggs or stuff like that. But for sure nothing that needs oils or makes grease because it will run right off the pan.

Thank you so much, Influenster and Calphalon, for sending the Premier Ceramic 11' square griddle in the color midnight blue in exchange for an honest review. I was so excited to be chosen to review this phenomenal griddle. I was in need of a new griddle and was looking for the right one. I'm highly impressed with the quality and durability of this griddle. You can feel the quality by the weighted pan. It has a perfect weight. It feels heavy enough to feel secure. It's not flimsy at all. I love the gorgeous midnight blue color. You must hand wash this griddle. I made bacon and eggs, and everything came out to perfection. My eggs turned out fantastic. They did not stick to the pan at all. It was easy to turn over and did not break the yolk. I did not use any kind of butter or nonstick spray because this fantastic coated non-stick griddle was perfect without any kind of oil. This is a healthy option and eliminates unwanted added fat in my diet. This kind of non-stick pan is exactly what my nutritionist has suggested. I love how thoroughly and evenly this pan heats. I have a flat top stove, and this griddle cooked everything evenly and at the same time. There were no hot spots. This griddle is extremely easy to clean. I just washed it down clean with water and a little bit of soap. I dried it completely with a kitchen towel. The non-stick coating did not chip or deteriorate after washing or using a plastic spatula. I'm very impressed with the durable nonstick coating. This has become my favorite pan that I own. I'm going to look into purchasing a full kitchen cooking set from this brand. I highly recommend it. I would give it more stars if I could!
