1 1/2 c. cranberry juice cocktail, divided
1 1/4 c. Cointreau
1/2 c. fresh lime juice
3 Tbsp. superfine sugar
4 c. chilled Prosecco or other sparkling wine
zest of 1 lime
Freeze half of the cranberry juice in a covered plastic container.
Chill the punch bowl by filling it with ice water and letting it sit briefly on the counter top.
Pour the ice water out, then combine all of the punch ingredients in the bowl. Stir well to dissolve the sugar and enjoy.
