Balsamic Glazed Strawberries

Ingredient Description:
4 c. strawberries, stems removed and sliced
1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp. honey
2 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
chopped mint for garnish

  1. Combine the vinegar, honey and lemon juice in a saucepan; cook and stir over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  3. Pour over the strawberries and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Serve over yellow cake, yogurt or ice cream and garnish with mint.
