Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Knife! I've used other 5" Santoku knives in the past, but this one is by far much better. The weight of it in your hand feels great. It's not light nor flimsy but not bulky or clunky either. It makes quick work of onions (so you don't waste any time getting teary-eyed) and other veggies with no problems. Just be sure to clean it up quickly after use so it doesn't get water stains on the blade. Love this Santoku!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME KNIFE!! I bought this knife since it was so light weight and super sharp. I use this for all of our cutting needs and it hasn't let us down yet. In fact, I'm buying more of this line today we love the two we bought so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best buy, by far... As a cooking instructor, I recommend the Katana Series to my students. For the money, it has my vote as the knifes to get for the home cook. As everyone should know, all knives get dull. With the Katana series and a good wet stone, an indiviual can easly learn to sharpen with a streight, point to hilt edge. My only complant is, why not more styles? I have had my set for years and you can only get the 4 or so individual knives. Chef Jeff Y. Canfield, Ohio
