Exchanged my Steak Knives with theseI bought the set with Block. The Steak knives had small handles and the serrated edges just Butchered a Nive Filet. I bought 1 at First to have 2. Since the one in the set the wife loves. Now I decided to buy 8 more to replace the Steak Knives that SUCK

Great BalanceI bought this knife about 3 weeks ago and am SOOO glad I did! I love it! I keep it hidden in my kitchen so my husband won't use it to do "man things" with it He's been caught using one of my steak knives as a screwdriver! I plan to purchase various Calphalon knives and recommend that you do, too. You won't regret it!

Great multi-purpose knifeI bought this knife last month and have used it every day. The knife is well balanced, stays sharp, and cuts with ease. I will be purchasing another paring knife as well as other Calphalon knives.

Great knife when used properlyWas a great knife in the house until the wife decided to use it for opening a sealed jar and broke the end off. The thin blade is great for paring so make sure to use it only for the intended purposes.
Hand wash your cutlery in warm, sudsy water using a liquid dishwashing detergent and a non-abrasive sponge or soft bristle brush. After washing, rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent water spots and stains from forming. Never wash your knives in the dishwasher. Product Manual Link
