Before First Use
Carefully remove the convection oven from the packaging. Remove any stickers or temporarily labels affixed to the oven.
Hand wash and dry the oven rack and the nonstick baking pan. Reinsert the rack.
Plug the power cord into a 120V electrical outlet away from the edge of the counter.
For the first use, we suggest preheating the convection oven without food to burn off any oils used for manufacturing.
Step 1: Choose a rack positing
Top rack: Broil
Middle rack: Toast, bagel, pizza, cookies
Bottom rack: bake
Step 2: Select a mode: Bake, Broil, Toast, Bagel, Pizza or Cookies.
Step 3: Select Convection or Defrost mode (optional)
Step 4: Choose the time using the Time/Slices knob.
Step 5: Choose the temperature or browning level using the Temp/Shade knob.
Step 6: Begin Cooking
Press Start to begin preheating. Preheating will flash on display until the temperature is reached.
Sleep Mode: If the convection oven sits for three minutes and the flashing Start/Cancel button is not pressed, the oven will go into Sleep mode. To exit Sleep mode, touch any button.
Step 7: Changing/Canceling a cooking cycle
You may not change the cooking mode while the oven is operating. Instead, press the Start/Cancel button and reset the controls.
Cleaning & Care
Before cleaning, carefully unplug the convection oven and let it cool completely before cleaning.
Crumb Tray: Hand wash the crumb tray using warm water and mild detergent. Ensure it is dry before reinserting it into the oven.
Baking Pan: The provided baking pan is dishwasher safe. Use a damp wash cloth to wipe the inside and outside of the oven.
Tips for Successful Operation
Metal and glass baking pans are suggested.
Broil with the door open for short cooking times to add crispness. Broil with door closed for tender items such as fish.
For a crisper pizza crust, bake directly on the racks.
