Before First Use
Place the grill on a dry, level, stable surface such as a countertop – near a suitable electrical outlet.
Remove all packing material and prepare parts for cleaning. Detach the removable plates by pressing the two plate release buttons located on the grill’s base and lid, then pulling the plates out of the grill.
Never immerse the base, cord or plug in water. If needed, wipe with a damp cloth that has been dipped in a watered down mild detergent or soap.
Carefully wash the removable plates and removable drip tray in the dishwasher OR in warm, sudsy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Step 1: Choose the plate style – grill, griddle, or half grill/half griddle
Step 2: Choose a position (open or closed) and a heat setting.
Step 3: Preheat the grill. The green “Ready” light will turn on when it is preheated.
Step 4: Place food on preheated grill.
Step 5: Set the timer
Step 6: Remove food from grill using non-metal utensil.
Cleaning & Care
Metal utensils may damage the nonstick coating. Use non-metal, heat resistant utensils, such as nylon or wood.
Allow the grill to cool and then remove the grill plates and the drip tray.
To Remove Grill Plates: After cooling completely, hold the top grill plate and press the “Release” button on the right side of the top housing. Press the “Release” button on the right of the lower housing and remove the lower grill plate.
Discard drippings from the drip tray. Wash the drip tray and grill plates with hot, soapy water or wash in the dishwasher.
Wipe the removable grill base with a clean, damp cloth.
Close the grill, move the height selector into the lock position, and tuck the grill away standing upright for space-saving convenience.
Tips for Successful Operation

It is best to cook meats of the same thickness at the same time.
Do no overstuff a Panini or the exterior will cook before the interior.
