Before First Use
Carefully remove of the slow cooker from the packaging and place on counter.
Wash the removable ceramic crock and glass cover in warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
Allow air circulation around the slow cooker. Plug the power cord into an outlet.
Step 1: Fill: Fill the ceramic crock between ½ to ¾ full with ingredients.
Step 2: Select Cooking Mode: Select between High, Low, and Warm.
Step 3: Set Timer
Step 4: Begin Cooking: The slow cooker begins when you press Start/Cancel.
Step 5: Automatic Keep Warm: At the end of the cooking time, the slow cooker will chime and show Cooking Complete. Then the slow cooker automatically switches to the Warm setting until serving.
Step 6: Power Off and Serve
Cleaning & Care
Before cleaning, carefully unplug the slow cooker and let it cool completely before cleaning.
Wash the crock and the glass cover in the dishwasher or hand wash with warm, soapy water.
Wipe the slow cooker base with a clean, damp cloth.
Tips for Successful Operation
When using a traditional recipe, reduce the liquid by about one-half, unless making soup or long grain rice.
If you discover too much liquid accumulation at the end of the cooking cycle, set the slow cooker on HIGH for about 30 minutes and some liquid will evaporate.
Reserve tender veggies, quick-cooking rice, pasta, and dairy products and add during the final 30 minutes of cooking.
Don’t Peek! Each time you remove the lid, the temperature drops, extending cooking time.
