Sautéed Garlic Shrimp

Top with chopped fresh parsley or chives and lemon slices and this is ready to serve.

24 large (16 - 20 count) shrimp

2 Tbsp. butter

4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

1/2 c. dry white wine

2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

juice of 1 medium lemon

2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped

salt and freshly ground pepper


Heat a 5-qt. sauté pan on medium heat until the rim of the pan is hot to the touch.  Add the butter. 

When the butter has completely melted add the shrimp and sauté for 2 - 3 minutes.  Add the chopped garlic and sauté for an additional minute. 

Deglaze the pan with the wine and reduce liquid by half.  Add the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and parsley and toss.  Season to taste with salt and pepper.
