Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl and reserve.
Cream the butter and brown sugar together with an electric mixer in a large bowl. Gradually add the flour mixture. Add the eggs one at a time while mixing. Add the vanilla and finally the chips and morsels.
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
For a single tapas cookie:
Butter a Calphalon tapas pan. Press one of the dough balls into the bottom of the tapas. Place in the oven and bake for 30 – 35 minutes. The cookie is done when a wooden pick stuck into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a rack for ten minute. Top with ice cream and serve.
You can make 4 cookies from this recipe. If you want to bake just one, wrap the remaining dough balls individually in plastic wrap and then in freezer bags. When ready to use thaw in the refrigerator and follow above directions for baking.
