Baked Ham with Honey Glaze

Ham is perfect for entertaining since it can be served hot or cold. It also makes great leftovers, so plan on cooking a pot of split pea soup later in the week.

1 8-lb. smoked ham, fully cooked
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. paprika
1 dash allspice
1/4 c. water


Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.
Mix all the ingredients except for the ham together in a medium mixing bowl.
Place the ham in a nonstick roaster. Baste the ham with the glaze, cover with foil and place in the oven.
Bake in the oven, basting periodically, until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 150°F, about 30 minutes. Slice and serve.
